Peeps Diorama Contest

Participate in our ninth annual Peeps Diorama Contest! Create your own Peeps world in a shoebox. Entries will be displayed in the library. Peep Prizes will be given to the best entries in the following categories: Family, Youth (grades 5 and under), Teen (grades 6-12), and Adult. Enter by yourself or with a group. Entry forms and rules can be picked up at the Service Center or found on our website.

We are excited to welcome Actor/Author/Restaurateur Danny Trejo, who has developed a prolific career in the entertainment industry with a hard-earned and atypical road to success. From years of imprisonment to helping troubled youth battle addiction, to acting, producing and now restaurant ventures, Trejo’s name, face, and achievements are well recognized in Hollywood and beyond.

This is a daytime club ideal for kids in grades 1-5 and perfect for homeschoolers and homeschooling families. Each month we’ll do a different activity - from arts and crafts, to STEM, as well as learn about the library! Kids ages 9+ can be dropped off and kids ages 8 and under should be accompanied by an adult.

April: We’ll read a book about the environment and make a craft from recycled materials in anticipation of Earth Day.
